Training Classes

Recently a few people have asked about training classes, so here is the scoop on our plans.

From 1988 until 2005, we averaged about 10 training classes a year, in different parts of the US.  They helped many people to get started or improve their skills.  We made money on them, they were a good excuse for tax-deductible travel, and they gave us excellent feedback from users.

Then class attendance started to decline.  It was probably some combination of the software becoming easier to use, gas getting more expensive, and the website providing better help resources.  We switched to “hands on” classes for a few years to cope with the lower attendance, but they no longer covered travel expenses, and we discontinued them completely in 2014.

Videos have become much easier to create, so our plan is to make a series of short instruction videos once Goldenseal Pro is released. We’ll put them on YouTube with links from our website.  No need to wait for a class in your area– just click and watch anytime 24/7.

We do miss the user interactions and feedback, so we may go back to having a few classes a year just for that.
