Contact Types

The Contact Types list lets you classify contacts in the Contact Log.

HINT-- Contact Types allow you to classify the phone calls, meetings and other customer contacts that you make as part of your lead tracking and customer relations management.

When to Use Contact Types

Use Contact Types in the Contact Log.  You might want to include classifications like office meetings, customer visits, letters and phone calls as Contact Types.

Entering Contact Types

To enter Contact Types, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Other Lists from the Options menu, and choose Contact Types from the submenu.
  2. Click the New button, and type in an item.  You can also double-click on an item and change the text.
