Contracts from Change Orders & Bids |
Can I make contracts from Allowances, Change Orders and Bids? Yes. Starting with Goldenseal project management software version 2.4, you can create contracts and spec sheets from any of the following records:
To be useful for a contract, the source record needs to have an Items breakdown. Goldenseal will "build" a scope of work description. It uses the text from the Contract Text field for each Assembly and Cost Item that is included. NOTE-- To create a contract for an Allowance, you'll need to create a Project account, and award the estimate containing the allowance, to that project. If you don't get the work, you can delete the Project account later. Click here for more about Goldenseal's contract writing features. Click here to return to Project Management topics.
