Goldenseal is project scheduling software that helps you to manage projects. It automatically calculates the start date for each task in a project, based on person-hour figures in each unit cost. You can change the crew size or project start date, and Goldenseal will automatically update the entire schedule. You can also add project delays or change intermediate project dates-- in that case Goldenseal updates all subsequent project dates. Because it knows how long your work takes, Goldenseal gives you a realistic schedule very quickly. It is particularly useful for small projects, where "critical path" scheduling is not so important. Goldenseal also helps you with day to day project scheduling. It reminds you about appointments, tracks contacts and paperwork, and gives you labor hours reports and material purchase lists for the current work at hand. Goldenseal is an integrated program which also includes project accounting, job cost tracking, contract writing and general project management.
