Goldenseal is an integrated software program that includes tracking for construction punch lists. Use it to log in defects or problems in a project, and then track their completion. Record problems individually in the Problem Log, or track many items at once with an Inspection record. The Goldenseal punch list tracking system works especially well if you use the multi-user version, and have wireless Internet at your jobsite. Then you can update the project status from a laptop, while inspecting the job, and make the information available instantly to everyone else in the company. HINT-- depending on your industry, you may refer to a punch list as a bug list or defect list. Use the Find command to see progress on each item, and use the Reports commands to get a list of unfinished punch list items for any project, employee or subcontractor.
