Goldenseal is construction estimate software for anyone that needs to create accurate cost estimates for construction projects. It comes with starter files for the following types of companies:
Goldenseal includes a unit cost library of over 2,000 construction costs. We timed our crews in Turtle Creek Construction, and developed an estimating system that hit reliably within 2% of our actual cost. Many of our users report similar accuracy when they use Goldenseal for their building projects. Each estimate includes "smart dimensions" that calculate actual construction quantities from simple measurements. You can enter "whole project" quantities for new construction or additions, or you can go through room by room for remodeling or insurance repairs. You can use each estimate to create detailed spec sheets and a bill of materials. Goldenseal also gives you printed estimate forms to give to customers (you can customize the layout to look any way you'd like). Once you've created a construction estimate, Goldenseal gives you a simple project schedule by calculating the start date for each task (based on the crew size and the total person-hours of work). It also gives you a bill of materials (material takeoff), contracts and spec sheets and a tool list. Goldenseal is an integrated construction business management package that also handles job costing, general accounting, payroll, project billing, lead tracking and general business management.
