Contract Text from a Word Processor |
NOTE-- We retired MacNail Spec Writer and the rest of the MacNail construction software, back in 2000. It has been replaced with Goldenseal, a complete software package for Macintosh and Windows that handles contract writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, In a Goldenseal Contract, you can enter any additional text that you'd like to add to that specific contract document. Creating Headers & Footers with a Word Processor For best results, use a word processor to create new header or footer files for the MacNail construction management software. To create a new header or footer using a word processor, follow these steps: 1. Open the word processor. NOTE: Headers and footers can have any file name. You may want to name them 'header' if they fit best before Specifications and 'footer' if they fit best after, but the file naming is entirely up to you. To create a new header or footer from another file, follow these steps: HINT: Header and footer files are added to the contract in alphabetical order. To put a particular file at the beginning of the contract, give it a file name that is early in the alphabet. To put a file after other headers or footers, give it a file name that is near the end of the alphabet. |
