Adding Contract Rows

NOTE-- MacNail construction software was retired in 2000, and replaced with Goldenseal-- a complete software package for Macintosh and Windows. Goldenseal is a complete construction business software package that includes construction spec writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, Goldenseal does not require the Excel spreadsheet, so it usually stores records in a database rather than rows in a spreadsheet.

Add Rows...

Choose Add Rows to insert additional rows in a Clauses File, Contract, or other Excel file within the MacNail construction management software.

To add one or more rows, follow these steps:

1. Click anywhere in the row where you'd like to insert additional rows. To add more than one row, drag down through the number of rows you'd like to add.
2. Choose Add Rows from the Specs menu.
3. Additional rows will be inserted.

Keyboard Shortcut-- Option-Command-A

Duplicate Row...

Choose Add Rows to make an additional copy of a row in a Clauses File, contract, or other Excel file within the MacNail project management software.

To duplicate a row, follow these steps:

1. Click anywhere in the row you'd like to duplicate. If you want to make more than one copy of it, drag down through the number of rows you'd like to add.

2. Choose Duplicate Rows from the Specs menu.
3. Additional rows will be inserted. All will be identical to the row you selected in step 1.
