Removing Contract Rows

NOTE-- Our new Goldenseal software replaced MacNail back in 2000. It's a complete, stand-alone software package for Macintosh and Windows, that includes construction spec writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, We continue to keep the MacNail manuals online as a convenience for die-hard users! Goldenseal does not require Excel, and it creates contracts and subcontracts that are similar to the ones from MacNail Spec Writer.

Delete Rows...

Choose Delete Rows to permanently remove one or more rows in a Clauses File, contract, or other Excel file within the MacNail construction management software.

To delete a row, follow these steps:

1. Click anywhere in the row you'd like to delete, or drag the mouse through several rows to be deleted.
2. Choose Delete Rows from the Specs menu.
3. When asked if you want to delete the rows, click OK.
4. All of the selected rows will be permanently removed from the worksheet. The rows beneath them will move up to take their place.

Clear Rows...

Choose Clear Rows to permanently erase one or more rows in a Clauses File, Contract, or other Excel file within the MacNail construction management software.

To clear a row, follow these steps:

1. Click anywhere in the row you'd like to clear, or drag the mouse through several rows to be cleared.
2. Choose Clear Rows from the Specs menu.
3. When asked if you're sure you want to clear the rows, click OK.
3. All of the selected rows will be permanently erased. The rows will still be there, but they will be blank.
