Contract Clause Options |
NOTE-- MacNail construction software was retired in 2000. and replaced with Goldenseal-- which handles construction spec writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, This manual is still online, as a courtesy to die-hard MacNail users! Goldenseal contracts are similar to the ones produced by MacNail Specwriter. Clause Options To control how Spec Writer handles the text in Specification clauses, choose Clause Options from the Options menu. The Spell out quantities option controls whether clauses will have quantities spelled out in words, when the MacNail construction management software creates a contract. *
If you choose Always, every clause that contains a quantity will have it spelled out. For example, the text
might read "Contractor will fill 115 (one hundred fifteen) holes in the wall." NOTE: To change the text used for approximations, see page 143. For more about flags, see page 139. |
