Printing a Contract

NOTE-- Goldenseal software for construction companies replaced MacNail, back in 2000. It handles construction spec writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, This manual is still online, as a courtesy to die-hard MacNail users! You can print most business forms directly from Goldenseal, but most people export their contracts to a word processor, and then edit the text and print from that program.

Printing Construction Contracts

Once you have gotten a contract from the MacNail construction management software into its final form, you're ready to put it onto paper!

Some word processors have you work on the file in 'what you see is what you get' format. If that is the case, the screen shows exactly what the document will look like when you print it.

Other word processors use a preview mode to view what the document looks like in print-- if that is the case, choose Print Preview from the File menu to see what it will look like.

To change the orientation of the text on the page, choose Page Setup from the File menu. To change margins and other page features, you'll generally choose the Page or Document command from the Format menu.

When the document is completely ready to print, choose Print from the File menu.
