Working with Clauses

NOTE-- We retired MacNail back in 2000. and replaced it with Goldenseal-- a complete software package for Macintosh and Windows that handles construction spec writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, Goldenseal stores each contract clause as a separate database record, rather than listing them in a spreadsheet.

Working with Clauses

Several commands will help you to work with individual contract clauses in the Clauses file from the MacNail construction management software.

* Choose Add Rows from the Specs menu to add blank lines, when creating new clauses (see page 150).
* Choose Duplicate Row from the Specs menu to make copies of an existing clause (see page 150).
* Choose Delete Rows from the Specs menu to permanently remove clauses (see page 150).
* Choose Clear Rows from the Specs menu to erase clauses, but leave their rows empty (see page 151).
