Using Irregular Nouns

NOTE-- We retired the MacNail construction software back in 2000, and replaced it with Goldenseal, a complete software package for Macintosh and Windows. Goldenseal is an integrated construction business program that includes construction spec writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, In Goldenseal, we use a much simpler method of building contract text, that doesn't involve any raw grammar!

Adding and Removing Nouns

To add a new irregular noun to the MacNail construction management software:

1. Choose Irregular Nouns from the Options menu.
2. Click the New button.
3. Type in the singular and plural forms of the new noun.
4. Click OK.
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each new noun you'd like to add.
6. Click Done when you are finished with the list.

To remove a word from the Irregular Noun list:

1. Choose Irregular Nouns from the Options menu.
2. Click on the noun you'd like to remove, then click the Delete button.
3. When you're asked whether to delete to word, click OK.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each noun you'd like to delete.
5. Click Done when you are finished with the list.

To sort the Irregular Noun list into alphabetical order:

1. Choose Irregular Nouns from the Options menu.
2. Click the Sort button.
