Construction Specifications

NOTE-- We retired MacNail Spec Writer and the rest of the MacNail construction software, back in 2000. It has been replaced with Goldenseal, a complete software package for Macintosh and Windows that handles construction spec writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, In Goldenseal, you can fill in contract specifications from an estimate, change order, project, allowance, or other similar sources.

Construction Project Specifications

This section describes how to create detailed project specifications in your contracts, using the MacNail construction management software. To do so, you'll use the Clauses file to create custom contract descriptions for each line item in the Specifications portion of an estimate.

The Clauses file includes 'smart grammar' which will build contracts for the MacNail project management software, using a variety of grammatical English sentences.
