Using Irregular Verbs

NOTE-- We retired the MacNail construction software back in 2000, and replaced it with Goldenseal, a complete software package for Macintosh and Windows. Goldenseal is an integrated construction business program that includes construction spec writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, There's no need to set up irregular verbs in Goldenseal, since it uses a simpler method of creating contract text.

Sorting and Using Irregular Verbs

To sort the Irregular Verb list into alphabetical order:

1. Choose Irregular Verbs from the Options menu.
2. Click the Sort button.

To apply an Irregular Verb to one or more rows in the Clauses file:
1. Open the Clauses file.
2. Select any cells in the row or rows to be changed.
3. Click on the Verb column title, or choose Irregular Verb from the Options menu.
4. Click on the verb you'd like to use, then click Apply.

NOTE: To use a regular verb, you'll have to type it into the Verb column in a Clauses file within the MacNail construction management software.
