Allowances from Clauses |
NOTE-- We retired MacNail Spec Writer and the MacNail construction software 2000. It has been replaced with Goldenseal, an integrated software program for Macintosh and Windows that handles contract writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, Goldenseal does not use a Clauses file, so there is no equivalent way to create allowances from them. Including Allowances from the Clauses File You can also flag allowances in the Clauses file that is a part of the MacNail construction management software, whether or not they are flagged in an estimate. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Open the Clauses file, and select any cells in the row or rows you'd like to allowance.
You can select more than one block of rows by holding down the Command ( ) key while you drag the mouse through
each block. NOTE: See page 139 for more about the other flags used on a Clauses file. 4. Labor and Material allowances will be flagged by having L added to the flag column. Material Only allowances are flagged with M in the same column. |
