Schedule Time Formulas |
NOTE-- We retired MacNail in 2000 or 2001, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction business software. Like MacNail, Goldenseal is designed for builders, remodelers and other small project-based businesses. Goldenseal is "run your business" software that handles simple construction scheduling, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, There is no equivalent for this menu command in the Goldenseal software program, since it doesn't use Excel formulas to calculate schedules from an Estimate. Time Formulas The formula that calculates the dates in a schedule can use either the average or the maximum of skilled and unskilled crew days (taken from columns C and D on the schedule). The *Time Formulas command will change the current formula from maximum to average or from average to maximum, within the MacNail project management software. The first formula in the selection will determine which change is made. For example, if the first cell in the selection is calculated from the average of skilled and unskilled, all the cells in the selection will be changed to the maximum of skilled and unskilled. For more about using time formulas on a schedule, see page 48. To Change Time Formulas: Keyboard shortcut: option-command-F. Running time: 3 seconds/8 seconds. |
