Project Scheduling Windows |
NOTE-- In 2000 we retired the MacNail construction software package, and replaced it with Goldenseal software for construction. Goldenseal is designed for builders, remodelers and other small businesses. It's an integrated program that handles accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple project scheduling. In Goldenseal, we use a consistent interface for each window showing data for your company, so you'll be able to use many different functions, once you learn one item. Scheduling Window Controls The MacNail scheduling software uses the same window controls as any other software program running on Macintosh or Windows. It has some basic controls that allow you to manage the windows that show data on your screen. Close Box: The close box or "go away" box closes a window in the MacNail project management software. If it is the only window of a file, it will remove the entire document from view. If it is one of several windows, the document will still be open. Scroll Controls: Click on the scroll box and drag it to move several pages at a time. Click on the gray area above, below, right of or left of the scroll box to move one full screen at a time. Click on the down, up, right or left arrow to move one row or column at a time. Size Box: To change the size of a window in the MacNail construction scheduling software, use the window, size box in the lower right corner.window, scroll bar Title
Bar: To move a window to a new location, drag on its window, title bar with the mouse. Zoom Box: You can "zoom" any windows to full screen size by clicking in the zoom box (to the right of the window title). Click a second time in the zoom box to return it to its original size. Finding Windows If you work with many windows at one time, you may find that some get hidden by other windows. Use the Window menu from Excel's menu bar to find them and bring them to the front of the Desktop. |
