Project Scheduling

NOTE-- We retired MacNail back in 2000 or 2001, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction management software. Like MacNail,we developed Goldenseal for builders, remodelers and other small project-based businesses. Goldenseal is now a fully mature, stand-alone computer program that handles accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple construction scheduling. Getting a project schedule is much easier in Goldenseal, since it's a part of each project estimate, and it's calculated automatically as you enter details about the work you're doing.

Basic Project Scheduling

This chapter covers "the basics" for each of the scheduling functions in the MacNail scheduling computer program.

It will tell you how to create a MacNail schedule, and how to use it to help you to run your construction projects.
It will also cover material takeoffs-- material purchase lists that you can create automatically from a MacNail schedule.

Finally, it includes information on the"reminder management" features in the MacNail construction scheduling software. With the help of MacNail's Job Reminder Lists, you'll be able to maintain better quality control on your projects.
