Project Scheduling Worksheets

NOTE-- We retired MacNail back in 2000 or 2001, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction management software. Like MacNail,we developed Goldenseal for builders, remodelers and other small project-based businesses. Goldenseal is now a fully mature stand-alone program that handles accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple construction scheduling. It's very easy to get a schedule in Goldenseal-- just check the Start Date column for items in a construction estimate. The dates are calculated automatically as you enter details about the work you're doing.

Construction Scheduling Worksheets

The MacNail construction scheduling software creates different kinds of worksheets to handle different functions. Each worksheet is a separate file that can be opened, printed, or worked with independently.

For example, if you create a new schedule for the Smith project, the worksheet will be named Smith Schedule. If you want to work with this file later on, use the *Open Schedule command from the File menu to see it.

MacNail uses the file name to determine how to treat each file. For example, to be recognized as a schedule, a file must have the word Schedule in its file name.

When the MacNail project management software creates new files, it automatically uses the correct file name. If you create files yourself, be sure to use the correct name.
