Project Completion Windows |
NOTE-- We replaced MacNail with the improved Goldenseal construction software back in 2000. However, we still keep the MacNail manuals online, for die-hard users! Goldenseal provides accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple construction project scheduling. It runs on Macintosh and Windows computers, and includes a networking version. In Goldenseal, we have a Completion Date field that also shows the final date, conveniently. Viewing Project Completion Date The completion window allows you to view the estimated completion date no matter where you are in the main schedule window of the MacNail construction scheduling software. The completion date is updated automatically each time you make a change in the schedule. NOTE: If the completion date isn't changing, choose Calculate from the Options menu, and click the Automatic radio button, then click OK. *MacNail Options, from the same menu, has an Always Auto-Calculate check box that will always keep the calculation in automatic mode. If you close the completion window or scroll it to another part of the schedule, choose *Set Schedule Windows from the Format menu, and it will be displayed correctly. Jumping to the Next Line When you are entering data, especially long tables of data, it can be inconvenient to get from the last column of one row to the first column of the next. Choose *Jump to Next Line from the Format menu to get a "carriage return" to the beginning of the next row in the MacNail project management software. |
