Opening Project Reminders

NOTE-- The entire MacNail software package is retired, and replaced with Goldenseal construction management software. The Goldenseal computer program is designed for remodelers, construction contractors, and other project-based businesses. Use it for accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple construction scheduling. Goldenseal also tracks punch lists and bug lists in its Problem Log. As with any Goldenseal records, you can use the Find command to locate problems, or create reports to see them in list form.

Opening Project Reminder Lists

MacNail's reminder lists will track all your project reminders in "first in, first out" order. Unless you sort them into a different order, the reminders will be oldest at the top, and newest at the bottom.

MacNail Scheduling includes several menu commands designed to enhance your use of the reminder lists.

To create a new Job Reminder List:
1. Choose *New Reminder List from the File menu.
2. Type in a project name. If you type in Smith, the reminder list will be called Smith Reminder List. You can find it in the Current Reminders folder.

NOTE: When you make a new MacNail schedule with the MacNail construction scheduling software, a reminder list for that project is created automatically.

To open any current Job Reminder List:
1. Choose *Open Reminder List from the File menu.
2. You'll be shown a list of all available Reminder Lists in the Current Reminders folder.
3. Choose one, then click OK, and it will be opened by the MacNail project management software.
