Project Reminder Lists

NOTE-- We have replaced the entire MacNail software package with Goldenseal construction management software. Like MacNail, Goldenseal is designed for remodelers, construction contractors, and other project-based businesses. You can use Goldenseal for accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple construction project scheduling. Goldenseal keeps all project reminders in a single database, but you can easily get a report that shows unfinished items for just one project.

Job Reminder Lists

There will be a Job Reminder List for each project that you want to track in the MacNail project management software. Each line of the reminder list represents one reminder or punch list item. You'll type information into the reminder list as new items to remember occur.

For more detailed instructions about the use of the Job Reminder List, see pages 60 to 65.

Column A (when?) should be filled with the date to which the reminder applies-- this can be a deadline date, or the date when the reminder was first entered.
HINT: To enter today's date automatically, type command-hyphen.
Column B (who?) contains the name of the person involved with the reminder. You can use it later to extract a punch list of all items involving a specific subcontractor or employee group.
Column C (where?) lets you list the room, floor, unit number or other location.

Column D (what?) contains a brief description of the actual task or reminder that needs attention.
Column E gives you space to type in comments of any kind.
