Project Scheduling with Excel 2.2

NOTE-- We retired MacNail in 2000, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction software. Goldenseal is designed for builders, remodelers and other small businesses, providing accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple project scheduling. You don't need any other software to run Goldenseal, since we built it from the ground up in the C++ programming language.

Memory Use

Excel version 2.2 is able to address any amount of memory for the MacNail construction scheduling software. However, the program itself takes up much more memory, so it may run very poorly unless you have two or more megabytes of RAM. We do not recommend running Excel 2.2 unless you have this extra memory. See page 136 to set the memory partition.

Menus

Excel 2.2 uses both short menu and full menus. The MacNail menu commands are added only to the full menus and are not available on the short menus.

To change from short to full menus, select Full Menus from the Options menu.

NOTE: If the menu command says Short Menus, then you are already in Full Menus!
