Removing Estimating Flags |
NOTE-- We retired the MacNail estimating program in 2000, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction estimating software. There are still a significant number of die-hard MacNail users, so we keep the manuals online for them! Goldenseal is an integrated program that also includes accounting, scheduling and contract writing features. You can use the flag box to mark any records in Goldenseal, so it's easier to find them later. Remove Estimate Flags Choose Remove Flags to remove flags from an Estimate, Estimator or Price Master in the MacNail construction management software. You'll have the option to remove flags from the entire worksheet, or just from the selected row or rows. In an Estimate or Estimator from the MacNail construction estimating software, all negative numbers in the code column will be made positive. In a Price Master, all text in the flag column will be removed. NOTE: Removing all flagged items from an entire estimating worksheet will take a while. There really is no harm in leaving items flagged, since MacNail will treat negative code numbers as if they were positive, whenever it refers to them. Keyboard shortcut: option-command-X. |
