Finding Missing Records |
I can only see some of my records-- the rest have disappeared! Check the two numbers underneath the "browser" book at the upper left corner of the window. If the Items number is larger than the Found number, you are only looking at some of the records right now. To see all the records, choose Find All from the Edit menu. About the Find Command The Find command lets you "narrow down" and see just some records. It is a very useful feature when you have hundreds or thousands of records and need to find something specific. But it can be disconcerting at first when records seem to "disappear". Click here for more about the Find command in the Getting Started manual. HINT-- Goldenseal also shows just some records after you click an account button like the View Estimates button (which shows you records for just one account). File Versions If Find All doesn't find missing records, you may be looking at an older copy of your company file. Check your hard drive for the correct version!
