BidMagic Preferences

NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimating software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction estimating software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

New Preferences

The Preferences card has a section for Depth of Frost Line, where you can enter the typical frost depth for your area.

This measurement is used to suggest foundation depth and pier depth on the Foundations card.

There are also two new preferences relating to material takeoffs. These preferences are covered in the BidMagic Takeoff manual.
