NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimating software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction estimating software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

New to version 1.5 of the BidMagic construction estimating software. The calculator pad on the Formula Editor now includes two new functions, TRUNC and ROUND. You can use them when building formulas for suggested values and labor & material adjusters.

TRUNC will give you the integer portion of the number between parentheses. TRUNC(1.7) = 1.

ROUND will round the number between the parentheses to the nearest integer. ROUND(1.7) = 2.
