We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

Some projects require special handling in the BidMagic construction estimating software to get the greatest accuracy. This section will cover some common construction variations that deserve special treatment.

Very Small Projects

Small construction projects are special for three reasons:

Not all dimensions are needed.
Some costs become more important in small projects.
Unit prices are often inaccurate when quantities are small.

Fortunately, you'll be able to estimate small projects much more quickly than larger ones, although relative to their dollar cost they will be more expensive to bid.
