Popup Buttons

In the Construction Specifications section of BidMagic, each subcategory includes one or more pop-up buttons that let you choose from the Price Book items for that cost subcategory.

Each pop-up button allows you to enter one 'line item' cost from the subcategory it belongs to. The cost is included under the card's category on the Bottom Line card, when the project price is calculated by the BidMagic estimating software.

When you click on the pop-up button, it displays a list of all the line items available under that construction category.

To add a construction item to the bid, select it from the pop-up list, then release the mouse--that item will appear on the screen, and the BidMagic construction estimating software will add it to the final bid.

To remove an item from the bid, click on its pop-up button, then choose None from the pop-up menu.

To add a temporary construction cost that is not listed in the Price Book, choose Other from the pop-up menu. It will provide you with a blank field where you can type in a construction item, and what it costs.

WARNING: Line items entered with the Other choice are stored only temporarily--they are permanently removed if you change them to something else.
