Types of Nudge Buttons

NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimating software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction estimating software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

The BidMagic estimating software includes two different kinds of nudge buttons--fixed and lockable.

A fixed nudge button is used for items that do not have a 'suggested' quantity. A fixed nudge button is black and white. It cannot be locked.

EXAMPLE: Number of Closets cannot be calculated from anything else, so it has a fixed nudge button

A lockable nudge button is used for items that do have a 'suggested' quantity. A lockable nudge button is shaded grey. It can be locked.

EXAMPLE: Number of Stairways can be calculated based on the number of stories, so it has a lockable nudge button.
