NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimating software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction estimating software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

The BidMagic construction estimating software includes unit costs for equipment and cleanup.

Cleanup & Equipment Estimating

This card covers the cost of dumpsters, cleanup, equipment and furnishings (reported as two differernt construction cost categories).

Cleanup Cost Subcategories

BidMagic estimating software includes several cleanup subcategories:

Dumpsters includes rental and disposal fees for dumpsters or other trash containers. It also includes trucking of construction debris in your own vehicles.

NOTE: Because trash removal costs vary so much between different parts of the country, it's a good idea to check our Price Book against your own local disposal costs!

Interim Cleanup covers the on-going cost of trash removal during construction.

Final Cleanup handles the final 'polishing' of the project, once all construction is completed.

Equipment Cost Subcategories

The BidMagic estimating program also includes two subcategories under the Equipment cost category:

Draperies & Furnishings covers draperies, furniture and any other interior amenities that are included as part of the project.

Other Equipment & Furnishings handles recreational equipment, commercial equipment, and any other items included in a 'turn key' project.
