Contract Speed Hints

NOTE-- In 2000 we retired all parts of MacNail construction software, and replaced it with Goldenseal, which is a complete software package for Macintosh and Windows. Goldenseal handles contract writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, Goldenseal creates contracts very quickly.

SPEED HINTS

To make contracts as quickly as possible with the MacNail project management software, do the following:

* Don't use the 'spell out quantities' option (see page 42).
* Make contracts in word processor format instead of spreadsheet format (see page 49).
* Make the contract from a project list or a schedule, instead of from an estimate.
* Turn off screen updating (see page 155).
