Formatting & Printing Contracts

NOTE-- We retired the MacNail construction software back in 2000, and replaced it with Goldenseal, which is a complete, integrated business software package for Macintosh and Windows. Goldenseal handles construction spec writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, You can print most business forms directly in Goldenseal via the Print Forms command, but most people export contracts to a spreadsheet, where there are more formatting options for text.

Basics for Printing Contracts

Once you have created a contract, subcontract or spec sheet with the MacNail construction management software, you can make it look however you'd like, and then print it.

This chapter covers a few basic techniques you can use to format and print your contracts with either a word processor or the Excel spreadsheet.
