Creating a Project Schedule |
NOTE-- MacNail construction software is now retired-- in 2000, we replaced it with Goldenseal construction software. Goldenseal is an integrated program that handles simple construction project scheduling, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management features. In Goldenseal, you don't need to create new schedules, since they are automatically included as a part of each construction Estimate. Scheduling Software Tutorial- Schedule Basics MacNail schedules are a "time line" for a project. They are nearly always created from a MacNail estimate. The MacNail construction scheduling software will get detailed information about the project from the estimate, and then use it to calculate schedule time units. NOTE: If you haven't created a MacNail estimate yet and still want to run through the tutorial, choose *Open Schedule from the File menu, click on Sample Schedule, then click OK. You can then skip the next section and jump directly to Making a New Schedule To make a new schedule for a project in the MacNail project management software: 1. Choose *New Schedule from the File menu. If you don't
