Project Scheduling Troubleshooting |
NOTE-- In 2000 we retired MacNail, and replaced it with the improved Goldenseal construction software. However we still keep the manuals online, for die-hard MacNail users! Goldenseal is an integrated program that handles accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple project scheduling. All Goldenseal data is stored in a single file, which makes it much easier to use than MacNail. Sorry, database is damaged. Use "fix database" to restore it!-or-Sorry, had trouble with this extraction! The Criteria, Database or Extract areas have become damaged in the MacNail construction scheduling software. This could be caused by inserting or deleting a cell. To repair, choose *Fix Database from the Options menu. If *Fix Database does not solve the problem, your worksheet may have suffered more serious damage. Our technical support staff can help you to make the repair! NOTE: If you always work with protected documents, you will not be able to accidentally damage a MacNail worksheet (see page 139). Sorry, the XXX folder wasn't found. Check folder layout! Check to make sure your folders are named correctly in the MacNail project management software. HINT: The MacNail Manager can check your folder layout, and tell you if anything is missing. To use this feature, close the Scheduling Manager, open the MacNail Manager, and click on the General button. If the General button is not available, click Cancel. You can then choose *Folder Checkup from the Special menu to have your folders checked. Sorry, this will not work on older versions. A few of the MacNail menu commands will not work on scheduling worksheets of a version earlier than 3.0. |
