NOTE-- We retired our MacNail construction software package in 2000, and replaced it with Goldenseal project management software. Goldenseal is designed for builders, remodelers and other small businesses, providing accounting, construction estimating, and project scheduling features. Goldenseal does not require the Excel spreadsheet program.

Advanced Time Formulas

This section describes a few ways for you to use Excel formulas to allow the MacNail construction scheduling software to handle slightly more complicated scheduling situations.

Project Delays-- As a Line Item

The easiest way to handle construction delays in the MacNail project management software is to use the *Add Rows Here command, from the Edit menu, to insert a new line at the appropriate point in the schedule.

Type a name (e.g. waiting for concrete cure) into column A, and the crew-days the task will take into columns C and D.
