Removing Schedule Rows

NOTE-- In 2000 we retired MacNail, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction software. However we still keep the manuals online, for die-hard MacNail users! Goldenseal runs on Macintosh and Windows computers, and handles accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple construction project scheduling. Goldenseal integrates project scheduling into Estimate records, so you will delete items from the schedule whenever you delete an estimating item.

Delete Project Schedule Items

To delete rows from a scheduling worksheet, first select any cells in the row or rows you want to delete. Then choose *Delete Rows from the Edit menu. The rows you selected will be deleted, and all schedule formulas will be adjusted.

WARNING: Never use Excel's "Delete" menu command. It can cause serious damage if used improperly.

To erase all information from a row or rows in the MacNail construction scheduling software, select the desired rows with the mouse, then choose *Clear Rows from the Edit menu. This removes any data from those rows, but leaves the formulas.
