Adding Schedule Rows

NOTE-- Goldenseal construction software replaced MacNail back in 2000. We still keep this online manual, to assist die-hard MacNail users! The Goldenseal computer software program runs on Macintosh and Windows. It includes accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple project scheduling. In Goldenseal, you can also add items to a project schedule, or change the order of items.

Adding New Schedule Rows

To add rows anywhere in a MacNail schedule:

1. Click on any cell in the row where you'd like to add a new row, then drag down through the number of rows that you would like to add in the MacNail construction scheduling software.
2. Choose *Add Rows Here from the Edit menu.
WARNING: Never use Excel's "Insert" menu command. It can cause serious damage if used improperly.
3. The selected rows will be moved down, and new rows, complete with formulas, will be added in their place.

NOTE: The *Add Rows command adds an entire row, no matter which columns are selected.
