Punch Lists

NOTE-- The entire MacNail software package is retired, and replaced with Goldenseal construction management software. The Goldenseal computer program is designed for remodelers, construction contractors, and other project-based businesses. Use it for accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple construction scheduling. In Goldenseal, you'll use Problem Logs to track punch list items.

Punch List Basics

A Punch List is a report that you generate from one or more MacNail reminder lists. It lists all of the reminders that are associated with one of your major subcontractors or employee groups.

The MacNail construction scheduling software looks in the "who?" column of the reminder list, and extracts all items that include the selected name (e.g. electrician). The search is made using only the first two letters of the name-- so items marked with el, elec, elect, or electrician will all be included in the electrician's punch list.
