Switching to Other Modules

NOTE-- We retired the entire MacNail construction software package in 2000, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction scheduling software. Goldenseal is a complete computer software program for home builders and remodelers, providing accounting, estimating, and project scheduling features. All Goldenseal features are integrated into a single computer program, so you don't need to switch between different modules.

Other Construction Software Modules

The MacNail software includes five different modules. You can use the MacNail menu commands to switch between them.

Estimates
*Accounts
*Job Costing
*Customizing
*Spec Writer

Choose these commands to transfer from the MacNail construction scheduling software to one of the other MacNail modules.

You will be asked if you would like to close all files first. If you answer yes, all open files will be closed before transferring.

After you transfer, commands for the previous module will be removed from the menu bar, and commands for the new module will be put in their place.

NOTE: The command for the current module will always be dimmed in the MacNail menu.
