Clear Schedule Formulas

NOTE-- We retired MacNail in 2000 or 2001, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction business software. Like MacNail, Goldenseal is designed for builders, remodelers and other small project-based businesses. Goldenseal is "run your business" software that handles simple construction scheduling, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, It does not require the Excel spreadsheet program, so there is no need to have menu commands to fiddle with formulas.

Clear All Formulas

This command undoes the effects of the *Time Formulas and *Parallel Work menu commands. All date formulas are returned to their original default condition. The ¶ and * symbols used to mark parallel items are also removed.

WARNING: This command also removes fixed dates from the schedule. You will have to re-enter them, after the time formulas have been cleaned up from the MacNail project management software.

The date column will use either the average or maximum of skilled and unskilled workers, depending on which is currently selected under *Scheduling Options.

This command will also repair date formulas that may have been damaged by carelessness or unusual combinations of commands in the MacNail construction scheduling software.

To Clean All Formulas:
1. Make sure that the schedule you want to clean up is the active document (in front).
2. Choose *Clean All Formulas from the Formula menu. NOTE: This command may not be visible on a small screen. Drag the mouse down to the very bottom of the menu to see the remaining commands.
3. Click OK.
4. All date formulas in column B will be restored to the default condition, and all parallel item markers will be removed.

Running Time: 5 seconds/20 seconds.
