Deleting Estimate Items

NOTE-- In 2000 we replaced MacNail with Goldenseal construction estimating software. There are still die-hard MacNail users, so we keep the manuals online for their use! Goldenseal is an integrated program that also includes accounting, scheduling and contract writing features. You can easily add and delete entire Estimates, and line item details within each Goldenseal Estimate.

Deleting Unnecessary items

To remove a line (or a group of lines) from the MacNail construction estimating software, choose *Delete Rows from the EDIT menu.

Deleting unnecessary items will make the worksheet slightly smaller, which will speed up recalculation, and allow it to open more quickly.
