Estimating Price Masters

NOTE-- We retired the MacNail estimating program in 2000, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction estimating software. There are still a significant number of die-hard MacNail users, so we keep the manuals online for them! Goldenseal is an integrated program that also includes accounting, scheduling and contract writing. Goldenseal does not need Price Masters, since it handles price updating automatically.

Estimating Price Master

A MacNail Price Master stores detailed information about unit price line items that you'll include in MacNail estimating worksheets. You can move these items to and from estimates and estimators with the Move Prices command (see pages 93-97 and 221-223).

You'll probably only use one Price Master to store estimating unit costs for the MacNail construction estimating software.
