Error messages in MacNail accounting:

Addition looks wrong -or-Worksheet's numbers look wrong

Bad math is usually caused by formulas that are accidentally wiped out in the MacNail construction accounting software. Use Protect Document from the OPTIONS menu to protect all cells with formulas in them. (To reinstate a formula see page 57 and 165).

NOTE-- In 2000, MacNail was replaced by Goldenseal construction accounting software. Goldenseal is an integrated program that includes general accounting, job costing, payroll and project billing, plus estimating and other features.

If Calculation is manual, choose Calculation from the OPTIONS menu and select Auto (see page 221).

You must not change the name of Accounting Manager. Some of the menu commands need to be able to recognize it by its name.
