How do I set Goldenseal for a different currency? Goldenseal accounting software uses the currency symbol that is set in your System. You can change it to euros, pounds, yens, pesos, Klingon darseks or any other currency symbol. These instructions are for Windows software-- click here for Macintosh. NOTE-- If you use the Euro symbol or some other special symbol, you'll also need to use a font that includes that character. Setting Currency Symbol- Windows Vista and newer If you haven't already set a currency symbol, follow these steps:
NOTE-- If you change the System Preferences while Goldenseal is running, you'll need to Quit from Goldenseal and reopen your company file, before Goldenseal will start using the new settings. NOTE-- In Goldenseal 4.96 and later, you can also set up an alternate currency symbol without using the Control Panel. Setting Currency Symbol- Windows XP If you haven't already set a currency symbol, follow these steps:
