Changing Schedule Dates

When I change a schedule date, it doesn't fill in later dates!

This is a known bug in Goldenseal estimating software versions 2.6 and 2.7. When you change the date in a schedule, Goldenseal does not fill in later dates in the rows below it.

This problem is fixed in version 2.71 and later.

You can also fix this problem temporarily by showing the End Date column in the estimate breakdown table. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Transactions from the submenu.
  2. Enter Estimates in the Transaction popup field at upper left.
  3. Enter Items in the Layout popup field.
  4. Click on the bottom right corner of the breakdown table, and make it wider.
  5. If you fiddle with the column widths, you'll be able to see the End Date column.
  6. When you have the columns the way you want, choose Save from the File menu.
  7. The next time you open the Estimates window, you'll be able to enter end dates (which will update following rows).
