Genome Software (Under Development)

Over the past few years, we have adapted Goldenseal accounting software to store information about the genomes and protein sequences for humans and other species. We intend it as a research tool that will help molecular biologists, and also citizens who have gotten a full genome sequence. That is currently a rare event, but will become increasingly common over the next decade.

Fortunately, gene data and accounting data have a lot in common, and many of the new features we have added for genome use have also proved useful for the accounting version. We expect that synergy to continue, since both software applications need to handle "way too much information" and make it accessible for mere mortals.

NOTE-- If you have had your genome sequenced, please let us know and we may be able to sign you up as a beta test for this new software.
