How do I see my sales history?
You can use the Find command
in Goldenseal accounting
software to locate all sales for a customer, sales of a particular
item, or any other detail. To use the Find command, follow
these steps:
- Choose Sales from the Income menu.
- Choose Find from the Edit menu.
- Enter the criteria for which you'd like to find (for example, a Customer account).
- Click the Find button.
- Goldenseal will find all matching records. Click the browser control to see them
all.
To see a simple list of sales during a particular time period, follow these steps:
- Choose Income from the Reports menu, and choose Sales from the submenu.
- Enter a date range into the Date Range popup field. You can use a common range such as This Month to
Date, or you and choose Custom Range and type in two dates.
- Click the Update button.
To see a detailed breakdown of weekly sales during a time period, follow these steps:
- Choose Income from the Reports menu, and choose Weekly
Sales from the submenu.
- Enter a date range into the Date Range popup field. You can use a common range such
as This Month to Date, or you and choose Custom Range and type in two dates.
- Click the Update button.
- You'll see a list of sales for each week during the selected time period.
To see a breakdown of sales by day or month, follow these steps:
- Choose Income from the Reports menu, and choose Weekly
Sales from the submenu.
- Enter a date range into the Date Range popup field. You can use a common range such
as This Month to Date, or you and choose Custom Range and type in two dates.
- Turn on the More Details checkbox.
- Click on the Breakdown popup field, and enter By Day or By Month.
- Click the Update button.
- You'll see a list of daily or monthly sales during the selected time period.
