Fonts Not Showing in Fonts Menu

I'm not seeing any fonts, when I click the Fonts menu in Custom Layouts!

There are two reasons why the Fonts menu many not fill in-- either memory is short, or the list of fonts is too long to fill in.

Try these steps to solve low-memory problems:

  1. Quit/Exit from Goldenseal.
  2. Restart your computer.
  3. Open Goldenseal, and try again. If it was a temporary memory problem, it should work now.

Try these steps to reduce the number of fonts you have in Windows:

  1. Click the Start button, and choose Control Panel.
  2. Open the Regional and Language Settings control panel.
  3. Click the Languages tab.
  4. Turn off the two checkboxes for right-to-left languages and East Asian languages (unless you need them).
  5. Click OK.
  6. Restart your computer.
  7. Try Goldenseal again, to see if the Fonts menu displays properly.
  8. If not, click the Start button again, and choose Control Panel.
  9. Open the Fonts control panel.
  10. Select any fonts that you don't need.
  11. Choose Delete from the File menu.
